Mesterolone is a Dihydrotestosterone derivative altered through the inclusion of a methyl group, 1-methyl-dihydrotestosterone, on its 1st carbon. The primary purpose of this dosage is to reduce the levels of water retention, mainly caused by estrogen. Also, this dosage ensures that the level of testosterone in the body system is as required to prevent any chances of infertility after the cycle.
